Welcome! I'm Celeste Boran-Fetch. I'm a mama to 3 young adult children & grandmother to one beautiful grandbaby. I'm a registered social worker, somatic experiencing practitioner, & a huge lover of Yoga! I have been practicing Yoga since 2002 & was certified to teach yoga since 2010. I have completed over a 1000 hours of Yoga training in restorative, prenatal, yin, Yoga nidra (sleep), & more. I also have 216 hours of Somatic Experiencing training. (You can see my Yoga resume here: https://www.tapestryyoga.ca/_files/ugd/9b35c0_cc71bc55e70f43ed8d1cd3c94fcc70d4.pdf In 2020, after years of people asking about audio and video recordings I began creating online offerings.
All of my Yoga classes are trauma informed; I weave in tools from my training in somatic experiencing which is a trauma resolution modality. My programs & offerings encourage interoception, proprioception, strength, exploration, focus, concentration, self-compassion, & tenderness. I love to make programs rich with resources like book recommendations, handouts & worksheets that I create.
I hope that after you practice Yoga with one of my programs you will have more tools to resource yourself & build resilience. I hope you will feel restored, renewed, rested, & ready to take on what comes next for you. I hope you enjoy participating in the programs as much as I enjoy creating them for you!
This library includes 70+ video & audio recordings on demand. Classes are all categorized with the various styles of Yoga! Recordings vary in length from 3 to 75 minutes.
This isn’t just yoga classes but trauma-informed Yoga education with tutorials, pranayama (breath control), office yoga, yin, restorative, therapeutic & body part specific, Flow & Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), yoga for children & families, & more!
We are continually adding recordings to this platform & recordings can be revisited again & again!
Our breath is often taken for granted but it is such a powerful tool to help us live & feel better; it is the only function of our autonomic nervous system that we can consciously control. In the west we often think of Yoga as the physical postures but it offers so much more including our breath control or Pranayama practice.
In this four class course we will cover various concepts to help us understand our breath both mechanically & energetically. We will start we a short physical seated warm up focused on warming our body up to breathe, explore thirteen unique breathing techniques, their contraindications, & allow time to integrate. The course includes handouts & resources. I hope to breath with you soon!
We honour mothers by designing an on-demand program specifically for mamas-to-be in any of the three trimesters. The classes combine a gentle yoga practice focused on opening & accepting, with meditation to prepare for your birth.
What is unique about this program is that it integrates Celeste's knowledge from her background as a social worker & somatic experiencing practitioner in trauma healing, bringing a unique understanding of the nervous system in labour & delivery. This program is suitable for mamas-to-be who are beginner to advanced Yoga practitioners & includes handouts & resources.
Kids are natural Yogis! When your child was born they knew how to breath. Babies naturally stretch & move their bodies & even go into Yoga poses. Sometimes as we grow we may forget these skills.
This program includes video and audio recordings, accompanying "fun" sheets, colouring pages, posters, book marks, and more! There are many fun themes curated for you but feel free to create your own combinations that work best for your child!
